QA Supervisor
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £32000/annum
Our Client is one of the UK's largest Importers and Distributors in their sector within the Food Industry, supplying a variety of customers nationwide, including the major retailers. We now offer an the excellent opportunity of Quality Intake Supervisor to join the business in a key position.
Working as part of a dedicated quality and technical team to ensure product meets retail customer standards, the position of Quality Intake Supervisor will be the primary interface for the quality of incoming ingredients, managing inspections to required specification and communicating nonconformance reports.
Responsibilities include;
Work with suppliers to manage non-conformances
Assessment of all raw materials
Quality System maintenance
Coordinate testing samples
Quality / Technical Audits
Manage product returns

We require;
Food sector exposure; manufacturing and/or distribution would be highly beneficial
Confident, with the ability to work closely and effectively with colleagues and suppliers
Experience and knowledge of QMS, Auditing, HACCP, BRC and understanding the importance of meeting customer expectations
Hours: Monday – Friday; 8.00am – 5.00pm
Salary: up to £32k
