QA Engineer

QA Engineer

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £38000 – £42000/annum

My client are revolutionising the ecommerce space and are now looking for an additional QA engineer. Their product already has a user base in the hundreds of millions and was already doing extremely well in the pre-Covid era! They have had even more demand now as companies look for more and more ways to reach their target audience and so they are expanding their engineering teams across the board but the first priority is an additional QA Engineer.
I would describe this as a scaleup environment which is fast paced, ambitious whilst not at being a hyper pressured type of startup. They are a really good bunch of people and the company has a big focus on the well being and continuous development of their staff. In essence it is a genuinely nice place to work working with switched on, creative, but ultimately very nice people (I have met most of the team so can say this!)
A specific need for an additional QA Engineer has now arisen as the company is scaling. You will be working on the testing of their websites and also mobile sites / apps. You will be working in with cross-functional teams and work alongside their product managers, developers, designers and QA Engineer to help ensure they are continuously delivering the best possible vale to their users.
This is a high volume realtime environment so a QA Engineer come from a similar background would be useful although not essential.
QA Engineer Key Skills:
* Experience of testing across multiple platforms (web, desktop, tablet, mobile, native apps)
* Creating, using and maintaining manual test scripts
* Jira for workflow and defect management
* Any experience with building / maintaining automation frameworks would be useful as the business is moving in this direction
Location: Central London (Fully remote at the moment)
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000
I can't stress enough how awesome this company is and their product is taking their industry by storm. they have been going for around 4 years and in a very good position with clients queuing at their door so it is an extremely exciting time of growth whilst also being a non-risky type of startup who have been around for over 5 years now.
If you're a QA Engineer who likes the sound of this role please submit your CV via the link and someone will call you to give you more details – there's lots
