Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant for one of our valued clients.

This role has an immediate start.

JOB PURPOSE:

Purchase Ledger & Finance Dept. Assistant

KEY RESULT AREAS:

* Primarily providing support to the purchase ledger

* Ensuring accurate and timely processing of data with attention to detail essential

* Additional support as required to the Finance Department

KEY ACTIVITIES:

* Coding and invoice / PO matching onto ERP system (IFS- Oracle based)

* Sending invoices for electronic authorisation

* Requesting and reconciliation of supplier statements

* Taking supplier telephone calls

* Filing of accounts payable paperwork.

* Provide backup to payment run

* Any other tasks that you or your Manager deem to be necessary to carry out the role in line with business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

* Accuracy essential

* Purchase ledger experience

* Bookkeeping

* Good IT Skills

* Time management

* Teamwork

* Working to deadlines

* Communication

My client is happy to consider either full time or part time 3 days per week for the right candidate
