Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Public Relations Manager for a genuinely exciting, innovative, and driven green sustainability business based in London. Our client, partners with many of the world's largest consumer product companies and retailers, to create innovative solutions to create collection and recycling solutions for hundreds of traditionally non-recyclable waste streams.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Public Relations Manager you will be responsible for:
Work closely with the communications department of multiple brand partners.
Managing, training, and coordinating a small team of PR executives.
Act as the spokes person when dealing with the press.
Monitoring the French media to identify future opportunities.
Assist in the implementation of PR campaigns in France and the UK.
Overseeing the launch of new products and brands.
Drafting and distributing press releases and pitches.
Assist with writing award entries, blog posts, company newsletters and communications.
Attend various events on behalf of the company and assist in the logistics planning of events.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Previous experience working in public relations and managing a team.
Native French Speaker with excellent communication skills in French & English.
A good understanding of French media and the sustainability sector i.e., recycling or waste management.
French media and PR contacts.
Degree qualified in a suitable field i.e. PR, journalism, marketing, business, management)
Passionate about sustainability, media, and innovation.
Able to problem solve and multitask with a proven record of executing successful public relations campaigns.
