As a project manager you will challenge the status quo, develop simple ways of working and simplify their business to deliver the continuous improvement agenda. We are looking for someone to help deliver our projects successfully whilst helping to shape the future direction of our Project and Program Management function.
As a project manager you will:
Undertake effective planning around capacity and priority of resources.
Ensure that teams working on projects are using agency software efficiently. This will include making sure timesheets are filled in and all data is accurate across the business.
Lead on internal written and verbal status communications for a range of projects.
Identify and mitigate project issues and risks.
Arrange, prepare for and deliver scheduled client updates, via weekly/monthly meetings or at checkpoints when project milestones are reached.
Make sure that all the aims of the project are met
Support the account managers in identifying cross/up sell opportunities within accounts
Define the company delivery methodology and become an evangelist of its value and benefits
Maintain fluid dialogue with senior management around the health of client relationships, including reporting on outcomes, successes and risks.
Baselining and reconciliation of project budgets.
Skills and Experience
Highly organised, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
At least 2 years of agency experience leading digital marketing projects.
Experience in day-to-day management of PM or agency software to assess capacity of the team and the profitability of projects.
Demonstrable ability of ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the brief, and within budget.
Proven experience creating and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
An ability to work autonomously to director-set goals, and to instil the same values in the team you work alongside.
Passionate and energetic with a proactive attitude.
Evidence of coordinating client briefs and managing them into campaigns and activations that clients – and their customers – will love, drawing on the strengths of in-house and external teams
Calm and motivated person who thrives on responsibility and always sets the example in putting clients first.Desirable but not essential
Formal Project Management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APM PMQ)
Experience of managing and leading other Project Managers, including management and mentoring of junior staff
