Project Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £45000 – £53000/annum
Our IT managed service provider client are expanding and recruiting Project Managers to strengthen their team.
If you've previously owned and delivered projects in an IT environment, this MSP-based Project Manager role will provide real variety, challenge and reward. You will own multiple projects at any given time ranging from data-centre focussed, network-centric, IT upgrades, or site move/new site openings.
In each case you'll ensure that projects are delivered within scope and on time, and provide clear communication to customers about milestones, delays and any risks.
It's a high profile role, reporting into the Operations Director, and there's really good career development potential. About you:
* Previous experience as a Project Manager with a proven record of delivering technical projects to a high standard
* It’s an advantage if you hold a project management qualification (Prince 2 or equivalent), as a minimum, experience at leading relevant IT projects for at least 18 months
* A pragmatic, creative and outcome-focussed approach to problem solving
* Working knowledge of IT products and services enabling you to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and delivering against multiple objectives
* Great organizational skills
