Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Engineering Director you will:

· Offer strategic guidance and leadership to the construction project team, ensuring seamless coordination of all projects.

· Initiate, acquire, negotiate, and execute large-scale multi-contract and fixed-price EPC agreements.

· Formulate and oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project culmination.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, encompassing contractors and subcontractors, to ensure flawless project implementation.

· Monitor and evaluate project risks, identifying potential challenges and crafting strategies to ensure project triumph.

· Supervise procurement processes, encompassing vendor selection and contract negotiations, to secure essential resources and services.

· Cultivate and uphold strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, guaranteeing clear communication and alignment throughout the project's life cycle.

· Deliver routine project updates and reports to senior management, spotlighting key achievements, hurdles, and milestones.

· Cultivate a safety-oriented culture at construction sites, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and optimal practices.

· Spearhead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and other construction experts, nurturing their professional advancement.

· Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and optimal practices to drive innovation and continuous enhancement within the construction division.

Professional qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following:

· A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

· Proven expertise in recruiting and forming construction delivery teams.

· Proficient in Contract Management, handling both multi-contract scenarios and fixed-price EPC contracts with values reaching up to £50 million. This encompasses spearheading the procurement process, overseeing tenders, and negotiating contracts.

· Substantial and demonstrable experience in overseeing construction projects across various locations, showcasing a solid history of successfully delivering large-scale projects within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.

· Profound understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory standards.
