Production Manager – Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Planning and organising production assembly schedules.
* Overall responsibility for the allocation, completion and quality of manufacture
* Ensuring that health and safety regulations as well as 5s standards are met at all times.
* Implementing quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
* Communicating with key clients to key them updated on production delivery dates, re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary.
* Overall responsibility for maintenance management
* Organising relevant training sessions and employee development
* Drive continuous improvements in line with lean manufacturing best. practice
* Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
* Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
Production Manager hours of work: Monday to Friday on day shifts, but flexibility is essential as the site runs 24 hours
