Salary : £35000 – £55000/annum
Our client is the UK’s largest farmer-owned central storage co-operative. Established in 1983 they provide seamless supply-chain integration for their farmer-members from combine to end customer. The business has enjoyed sustained growth year-on-year, handling an ever-increasing volume of crops through a total of four strategically located Advanced Processing Centres across central England. Farmer commitment, farmer control, careful planning and customer care drive the organisation that has accessed substantial grant aid for its members, bringing pioneering new developments to farmer owned storage and food processing.
As part of their expansion plans, they are now looking to secure the services of a Production Manager to run one of their key sites in Cambridgeshire.
To be applicable, you will be proven in either the Agri-Business or Food Manufacturing sectors at running a complex operation including all aspects of a site including technical, operations and logistics. You will be driven and completely able to handle pressure in terms of operational issues – both internal and externally and create positive outcomes all round. You will also be a great people manager with the ability to manage a diverse team around you. Your strong commercial and general management ability will ensure consistent delivery of performance and in line with the operational KPI’s.
The successful candidate for this position will have defined experience working within the Agri-Business or Food Manufacturing sectors at Production Management level and will be able to demonstrate previous experience of leading people in successful teams to successful conclusions.
