Main Purpose of Role
ICA product managers work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality of ICACS Products. In this brand new role, you will be taking ownership of a portfolio of ICACS Products and provide advice, guidance and support our teams on all aspects of Product Management
You will be heavily involved in the concept phase, validating ideas from the business. In this part of the process you will validate demand for new products through market/business analysis, engagement with clients, etc., assist the Product Sponsor with the development of Fact Sheet / Business Case and work with the Project Team to develop Project Initiation Document (PID), including clear definition of project outcomes and milestones.
In the project stage, you will liaise with our fantastic SMEs and conduct (or commission) analysis to determine new product requirements. These might include, for example; Competence Framework, KSA analysis, Syllabus, Learning objectives, Assessment strategy. Once the analysis is complete, you will conduct/commission a gap analysis against existing ICA product base to determine additional design activity and work closely and collaboratively with Design function to ensure development of the products is in accordance with project outcomes and milestones.
In the final stage, what we like to call the 'In-service Phase', you will contribute to the development of the annual training plan for ICACS products, ensuring products are subject to review and amended in response to internal quality reports (InVal) and client/customer feedback.
You will also ensure the product is reviewed and revised in accordance with product review cycle (minimum every 2 years) and conduct regular analysis to assess product viability, contribution and position in life-cycle.
