Product Development Manager
Our Client is a dynamic digital business based in Central London with all the benefits of an agile and fast-growing start-up with internal funding to provide stability.
They are now looking for a Product Development Manager to join their team to help them with the rapid growth they are experiencing. They anticipate the Product Development Manager role will grow into Head of Products.
As A Product Development Manager, you will :-
• Report to the Chief Technical Officer CTO.
• Uncover and understand product and client needs and translate them into requirements
• Research and document requirements for the core product
• Ensure requirements are fully understood, documented and that implementation plans match expectations
• User analysis and feedback
• Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance
• Active involvement in all testing and release plans
• Facilitate and contribute to the creation and maintenance of product documentation
• Become an expert on their custom domain language ‘Pulsar’, alongside their dashboard query engine
• Line manager UX/UI designer and research manager a Product Development Manager :-
• Several years product experience, in a product management / ownership role •
Proven leadership and motivational skills
Some knowledge of UI & UX design principles
• Ability to translate business requirements into a functional design
• Good written and oral communication skills a must; can adapt personal style to present under a variety of circumstances.
• Previously worked alongside senior stakeholders, helping to achieve company / product vision
• Basic programming experience
• Experience of working in an Agile environment
• Previous experience in this role within a start-up environment preferred.
• Solutions focused – helping them to stay ahead of their competitors
