Role – Product Designer
Working hours: Flexible, Monday-Friday

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Product team at the UK's leading online marketplace for linking mechanics and garages to drivers across the country. Our client aims to ensure the best value and service for drivers and offer great opportunities to both our member garages and associated partners.

You'll work closely with the Product Manager and the existing Product Designer as well as other members of the wider team, including marketing and development.
We're a fully remote, collaborative and friendly company with employees across the UK and an office in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This role is perfect for someone who knows their stuff when it comes to product design, but who also is excited to learn & do more.

Responsibilities
• Delivering wireframes, user and process flows, mock-ups, as well as pixel perfect UI designs.
• Working with the lead Product Designer to help define our design system across.
• Work alongside the wider Product team to solve business or customer problems.
• Work closely with development, product, customer facing departments and marketing to define and validate concepts and ideas.
• Converting insights and requirements derived from user research, stakeholders and data analysis into practical execution.
About you
You'll have roughly 2 years’ experience working on digital products across a variety of platforms, whether with an agency or client side, most importantly, you'll have a keen interest in creating products which aim delight users and meet business goals.
We are looking for designers who are hungry to advance their skills and join our growing team, working on our core product which aims to simplify car repairs & service here in the UK.
You'll have:
• Hands on experience using modern design tools, we use Figma!
• Understanding or experience working with design systems.
• An excellent understanding of user-centred design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within different departments to gather insights.
• Positive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
You'll stand out if you have:
• Experience running or taking part in, internal and external workshops.
• Conducted customer research interviews or similar tests.
• Understanding of modern web development practices and how they impact design.
• Experience working with animation.

Salary: £35,000 DOE
