We are currently recruiting for a prestigious fresh produce company based in Holbeach Spalding, they are seeking to employ a Process Operative 3 as soon as possible.
This is an ongoing position potentially leading to permanent to the ideal candidate

10am – 10pm Monday to Friday
£11.16 per hour
Reporting directly to the Section Leader
Overview of the role:
To work safely as part of a team producing products to customer specifications ensuring quality parameters are met, to work efficiently playing a part in the delivery of factory performance metrics, and ensuring tasks are completed timely to ensure service levels are met. Duties could include being multiskilled or senior in any of the following: FLT, machine operation, QC checks, cleaning, compacting, print room, despatch, picking, out loading.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Accountabilities will vary depending on specifics of the role being undertaken and could include the following. The role of Process Operative 3 could mean you have a broad understanding of multiple roles and may mean you will be required to deputise for a Section Leader.
To safely setup, operate & maintain equipment, machinery, or vehicles to achieve expected performance targets
To conduct quality checks and other quality tasks required throughout the process
Paperwork completion, and countersigning / verification where applicable Attendance at meetings as required
Contribution to achievement of department KPI’s
Ensuring products are packed and weight checked to customer specification
Keep work area clean, tidy & organised
Follow procedures as set out
Report poor practices to Section Leader
Consider safety in all you do and for direct reports
Other such reasonable duties within the general scope of the job title, at the Line Manager’s instructions.

The ideal candidate must have:
Excellent understanding of both written and spoken English
FLT Licence (Counterbalance)
Ride on Pallet Truck Licence (desirable)
The ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
The ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
The ability to self-motivate and able to motivate others
Good problem-solving skills
Desirable
Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
Food manufacturing experience
Experience of working with manufacturing packing machinery
Previous supervisory experience/leadership skills
Computer literate
An understanding of allergens
Other requirements
Willing to undertake further training to fulfil the requirements of the role
Willing to work additional hours to meet the demands of the role
May be required to travel on company business ad-hoc basis
Is able to ensure own attendance at work
