Active SEN are looking for Special Needs Teachers to work in full time contracted roles in Croydon in exellent Special Needs Schools. working in a primary SEMH role.
Active SEN are specialists in SEN and work solely with SEN schools and Provisions across London and the surrounding boroughs. If you hold a QTS and have experience within the world of Special Needs, we want to hear from you.
As an SEN Teacher; you must have a natural aptitude for behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner. You must be able to have a level of resilience, have a good sense of humour, be able to build rapport easily and will ideally have experience working with students who have ASD, ADHD, SLD, PMLD or Behaviour Issues.
Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed and flexible and have a love of teaching students with special educational needs, including learning outside of the classroom and teaching life skills. You will want to inspire and motivate students and will not mind students who are sometimes anxious and show challenging behaviour.
