Pricing / Quotes Coordinator

Initial set up to work from home with a move back to the office on rotation when safe to do so. Strong COVID procedures in place within the office and compliant to government regulations.

We are recruiting for our client based in the Staines area for a Pricing / Quotes Coordinator.

This role supports the Product Sales team with daily operational tasks around sales quotations and customer order management. You will be responsible for quoting business opportunities and managing the order process as quotations convert to customer orders.

You will use your communication skills to build relationships with suppliers, as well as product and market knowledge you will be taught to leverage advantage in the quoting process and assist in converting opportunities to sales.

The quotation/order cycle by nature generates issues which need to be resolved so you will maintain excellent service levels to sales and to customers at all times and quickly find creative solutions to any problems which arise to ensure to deliver on commitments to the customer.

The role will also assist on proactive projects such as quote follow up, lost business review, design funnel analysis and margin improvement on existing business.

You may have had 12 months to 8 years office based experience in a business or sales support role or be a Graduate with a placement year gained within an office environment.

Strong IT skills, excellent communication and attention to detail will be essential along with a confident approach and personality.

TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED ON PRODUCTS AND PRICING SO THIS EXACT EXPERIENCE ISN'T ESSENTIAL – BUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DISPLAY SOME OF THE RIGHT COMPETENCIES FOR THE ROLE AS BELOW.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

* You will have gained experience working in a business support role. This could be Sales Administrator, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Pricing, Quoting OR another role all with a good level of Customer Service and within a B2B environment.

* You will be highly organised and be able to prioritise and act in a pro-active manner.

* Excellent communication skills is essential and you will possesses the skill set to build relationships with ease.

* You will be confident in your communication to work with suppliers and internal departments

* You will be able to display logical thinking and the ability to make deciscions

* An ability to work on you own initiative, whilst maintaining team spirit.

* Displays a sense of urgency, is able to multi-task and has the ability to perform under pressure.

* Competent in Microsoft packages.

* Able to show flexibility in order to adapt to the ever changing needs and demands of the role.
