Our client is a leading, profitable, highly respected Microsoft Gold Partner looking to hire additional Pre-Sales Specialists to work with the Sales Team in the development of opportunities with the existing client base.
The Sales team own the client relationship whereas the Pre-sales Consultant is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in their given speciality.
As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you should be a Technology professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience. You should also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals.
Ultimately, you should be able to provide technical, product and business knowledge to the support sales process and strengthen customer relationships.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
* Have a full understanding of your specialist area
* Have the ability to create high level designs and create proposals
* Be able to Train Sales Team members to position the packaged propositions
* Identify solutions to reduce operational costs and drive efficiencies
* Liaise with the sales department to win new business and increase sales
* Drive Consumption across the Microsoft platform
* Keep track of sales performance metrics
Technical Requirements
High level understanding of Microsoft Modern workplace technologies with deep knowledge and experience in at least one of the following 3 focus areas:
* Microsoft End user Compute Technologies, including Windows 10 deployment and security, Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and the broader EMS Suite
* Microsoft Business Productivity Technologies including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Yammer and the broader Office 365 suite.
* Business App Technologies within the Power Platform suite including PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, Dataverse, and knowledge of methodologies such as Lean process improvement.
Personal Experience and Qualities
* Proven work experience as an Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant or Technical Sales Specialist
* Strong team spirit internally and customer facing relationship building
* An ability to grasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable carrying a target and driven to exceed it
