Our client is a market leader within marine engineering, offering some of the most powerful brands in the marketplace.
They are expanding and are seeking a Powertrain Technical Support Engineer to join their Engineering Team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an ambitious company being a market leader in their field.
The Powertrain Technical Support Engineer will be technical and sales support for customers, supporting powertrain customers with enquires and providing technical feedback as required.
As Powertrain Technical Support Engineer – you will be required to
Support powertrain customers with enquires and technical feedback as required
Compile customer specifications for costing, quotation and production ordering purposes
Organise and execute demonstrations of powertrain units with company staff, customers or end users
Visit customers to liaise with regard to specification, applications or installation issues of powertrain system
Carry out inspection of company products and raising necessary reports and quotations etc
Assist in testing powertrain systems
Setting up shows or exhibitions, both on or off site
As Powertrain Technical Support Engineer, you will have
Degree qualified or equivalent with proven industry experience
Practical working knowledge of 2 and 4 stroke engines
Experience in a commercial/sales facing role
Experience in powertrain test/development would be beneficial
Experience in a similar role supporting new technology in the field
