Plant Nursery Assistant
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £10.42/hour
Staffright Southend Ltd are recruiting suitable workers for our client, a garden nursery based in Chelmsford, Essex.
This position will be starting Feb 2024 and will be consistent work until Sept/Oct when season ends with weekly pay and full time hours.
Shifts will be 7.30am-5pm- Monday to Friday with some optional overtime on Saturdays when peak season (Summer)
Pay – £10.42hr – Weekly pay.
The role will include:
Working will all aspects of plant growth such as propagation, plant care, and preparing plants for dispatch.
Working through and preparing customer orders.
General maintenance around the nursery including clearing and tidying.
Experience in horticulture is an advantage but is not essential.
You must be fit & healthy as this role involves a lot of bending and some lifting, with working outside in heat or cold depending on weather for season.
Ideally you will have your own transport to get to and from work as location to this Nursery is limited access to public transport.
