Planning & Stores Controller
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £36000 – £40000/annum
A great opportunity has arisen for a Planning & Stores Controller to join an established and successful organisation based in the Scarborough area . This is a newly created position and is more of a Supervisory role rather than a "hands on" one. This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary . Working hours Mon to Fri 7.30 am to 6pm plus every other Saturday 7.30am to 1pm.
As the Planning & Stores Controller, you will be responsible for:
Managing the workload within the head office workshop and farm sites
Managing the scheduling of jobs and workshop health & safety
Liaising with transport and farm departments
Managing and streamlining stores and monitoring stock
Managing a team of mechanics
Cover servicing and repairs of HGV, trailers, potato bulkers and Agricultural Machinery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in either HGV fleet and/or Agricultural Machinery. You should be a team player who is able to lead a team, therefore previous managerial experience is essential. Class CE license and Forklift are desirable. I would be interested to hear from anyone who comes from a agricultural machinery or fleet background or from a services/parts background. You should have good IT skills and be highly organised with excellent planning skills
This role offers a salary £36,000 – £40,000 and excellent benefits
