The Role

This role plays a key part in shaping the KCS photography and videography for the future. You will organise both in house and on location product and lifestyle photography, whilst being the gatekeeper for style, look and feel of our overall photography. You will work closely with the product marketers to understand and implement creative briefs for photography by product/category and videography working with key customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Duties

Studio and Location based photography for product (80%) and lifestyle (20%) images, (indoor and outdoor dependant on product.)
Planning detailed shot lists and kit lists before photoshoots
The Creation of photo assets as required and in line with brand guidelines specific to each category and channel (Catalogue, web and social)
Lead film and photography shoots, including shooting stills and in standard HD and 4K, acting as light and sound engineer, producing and directing where appropriate
Prepping the KCS photography studio including setting up and using lighting
Comprehensive knowledge of photographic/studio equipment
Presenting and discussing images with the marketing team. Using this input to re-edit, iterate and re-present images.
Editing images in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
Maintaining the KCS image archive and ensuring the processes are upheld and constantly improved upon
Exporting images in various dimensions and formats
The organisation and maintenance of camera inventory and equipment
To work alongside the social media management and design team to formulate stylised shoots to match the strategy of branding the company has implemented
What we need from you 

Adobe Suite experience/knowledge

Use of a camera with portfolio

Photography Degree/Qualification

Attention to detail

Working to a creative brief

Working as a team but also being able to work remotely where there may be limited face to face interactions and can self-motivate

Ability to influence and gain excitement from models when shooting on location

Ability to effectively use questions to understand internal customer needs, assess their needs and deliver photographs and videos to a high level 

Adapts communication style to the audience and the circumstance

Handling difficult conversations with tact and integrity 

Ability to travel and working independently 

Ability to assess, prioritise and action multiple tasks
