Digital Performance Marketing Specialist

Scope of the Role

The lead generation team within push work on a 'pay per results' model to clients. A performance manager is needed to help optimise and manage end to end projects which include helping to set up landing pages, Google/Bing accounts, Facebook accounts, tracking, reporting quickly across a variety of different business types. It is extremely performance driven where delivering the correct amount of daily/weekly/monthly leads and at the best CPA is essential to remain profitable and keep clients happy.

A Performance manager will need to be organised, creative, fast moving, very versatile in both business understanding and digital platforms to succeed. You will need to be able to manage 20+ accounts across different platforms to ensure all are hitting targets.

All-round digital marketing experience is needed. You must also be able to quickly build campaigns for new businesses in a short period of time for new verticals constantly. Each new project will need a testing mindset; we need to be creating experiments constantly to keep us ahead. Good understanding of a customer journey, CRO and customer engagement is also essential to ensure the leads we drive are leading to high sales conversion rates on the customers' side.

Experience in quickly scaling will also be helpful here as there are ambitious targets to build out our own version of Compare the Market and become a market leader in generating high value leads both in the UK and Abroad.

Key responsibilities

Ensuring we continuously hit our lead number and CPA targets every single month.
Setting up & managing multiple Google Ad accounts.
Setting up & managing multiple Bing Ad accounts.
Setting up & managing multiple Facebook Ad accounts.
Daily management of campaign performance, including reporting and campaign analysis and optimisation for the three platforms above
Devising and running conversion rate optimisation experiments on landing pages.
Ensuring budgets are tracked and monthly spend is on target.
Establishing and maintaining conversion tracking for paid campaigns
Coming up with ideas and new types of generating more leads
Constantly improving profitability reporting
To develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives of each of your customers.
To produce reports on lead quality and come up with recommendations on how to improve lead quality and optimise towards lead value not just lead numbers.
Some communication with key partners.

Key skills and experience

2 years + multi channel PPC experience (ability to build and manage accounts on Google, Facebook and Bing)
Proven ability to consolidate and analyze data quickly from multiple sources
Knowledge and understanding of performance marketing strategies, tactics, and tools
Excellent project management & time management skills
Growth mindset with results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating);
Advanced Excel
Good knowledge of conversion tracking
Understanding of CRO and landing pages
Strong marketing and lead funnel knowledge
Understanding of affiliate marketing and advantage but not essential
Native advertising / SEO knowledge an advantage but not essential
