Job Type : Contract, Temporary, Full Time

Salary : £10.00 – £13.00/hour

 

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with our client in the recruitment of a Payroll Officer on an ongoing basis with the potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate. This role will require you to work in all aspects of payroll preperation and processing. Experience of using Sage or a similar payroll system is essential.
Duties include:
* Processing monthly payroll data
* Working directly with the Finance Department regarding payroll reporting
* Producing payslips
* Dealing with daily payroll processes, including SSP, SMP, P45, P60 etc
* Monitoring starter and leavers
* Managing payroll queries
* Keeping up to date with relevant payroll policies, processes and payroll legal requirements
* Pension Auto Enrolment
* Producing regular reports on Excel
In order to be considered for this role you must have previous Payroll experience. This is a stand alone function with support from the Group Accountant. You must also demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills with experience of using Payroll Systems. You will have advanced Excel knowledge also. This is a wonderful opportunity to not only be able to do the role but to also contribute to the overall running and improvement of the payroll function.
