Part qualified Accountant
This is your opportunity to join a growing, independent Chartered Accountancy firm based in Hawick, Scottish Borders. This firm will allow you the chance to work within a supportive team which emphasises continual development.
You will be part of a team responsible for:
* Preparing sets of accounts for statutory and management purposes from complete and incomplete records,
* Preparing personal and corporate tax computations as well as reconciliation of accounts.
* In addition, you will undertake ad hoc projects and be fully involved in all aspects of client affairs.
In order to be considered for this Part qualified Accountant role you will need:
* To have strong accounting skills and be well versed in preparing accounts.
* Ideally you will have 2 years’ experience working in professional practice in a similar role. Experience is more important than qualifications.
* Good communication skills are essential and well as good IT skills.
* Experience of cloud accounting software packages is desirable.
