The Operations Manager role:

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Manager to join a great team working in an exciting and creative environment. As Operations Manager you are the senior manager taking responsibility for the full operations team, to lead and motivate the team to meet the company and customer demands.

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

* Reviewing, improving, and implementing all systems in use throughout Operations to ensure optimum service and customer satisfaction.

* Communicating and cultivating relationships with colleagues and external customers to ensure an appreciation of the Operations function throughout the Group.

* Developing and executing operating policies, ensuring all decisions are in accordance with overall Group policies and approved by the Senior Management Team.

* Support the development of the brand into an industry leader in quality, service, delivery, safety, and employment practices.

* Managing, under advice from HR, all aspects of the employee lifecycle within the Operations function including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, discipline, and termination.

* Leading, coaching, motivating, developing, and retaining the operations workforce.

* Continuously evaluating and improving operating controls, procedures, and systems.

* Maximising equipment utilisation through improved controls and checking procedures.

* Establishing and leading a quality improvement process to maintain the highest standards of product delivery.

* Review and control operating budget ensuring that financial targets are met; to include overtime and agency costs.

* Monitoring and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery to customers to ensure customer satisfaction and client loyalty.

* Managing and reviewing the use of the weekly department checklist, ensuring all managers are completing and using to effectively take ownership of their teams and functions

Requirements of the Operations Manager:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* A good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel

* Ability to work under pressure and achieve critical deadlines

* Strong business acumen

* Diligent and attentive to detail
