Nursery Worker
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £22000 – £24000/annum
Are you an enthusiastic and Nursery Worker with the Full UK driving license local to Swanley annual salary negotiable depending on experience( Mon – Fri ) & want a great working environment? We are looking for dynamic people to maintain to organise and motivate various sites, ensuring all Horticultural duties are delivered to a high standard that meets customer expectations.
The successful candidate will work to their own initiative and organise resources to deliver an effective delivery of service:
Key Responsibilities
Watering of plant stock
Accurate labeling of plant stock
Plant stock rotation
Seasonal plant maintenance
Ensuring plant stock quality and escalating issues/potential risks in a timely and appropriate manner
Supporting the Assistant Nursery Manager and Supervisors to conduct risk assessments and actively adopting the necessary changes to adhere to H&S guidelines
Positively challenging colleagues to adhere to H&S guidelines and championing H&S across the site
Supporting the Assistant Nursery Manager and Supervisors with onboarding new starters and overseeing inductions when required
Control and management of tools, equipment and consumables

GCSE Qualifications (Level 4 and above essential for English and Math) – E
