NPD Technologist

As a result the company are looking for an NPD Technologist to become part of their close knit team.

You'll be responsible for driving NPD projects from concept to launch, and will be confident in working cross functionally to drive the strategy within the category.
You'll provide new product concepts in response to signed off internal & external briefs – on time and to the agreed costs and of quality.
You'll liaise with Directors, Managers, process, technical and ops to ensure that all these departments are engaged in the process.
You'll Seek creative process solutions within the existing manufacturing methods, working with the process and operational teams
You'll Manage the NPD projects from concept through to successful launch of said projects, working closely with customers in the development of innovative products
You'll develop recipes and set out process impact on costs and communicate any changes needed
You'll liaise with ingredient suppliers to build knowledge and awareness of the ingredient market.
To do all of that interesting work you are going to need a food based qualification, you'll need to be strong willed and willing to work alone on projects, you must be creative with ingredients and you must be able to prioritise and plan your work, your tasks and your time
