Job description
Food production specialist seek reliable, hardworking, conscientious individuals to assist in the production and preparation of various meals and fresh produce. As a Food Production Operative, you will be working as part of a team operating in an AMBIENT and CHILLED ENVIRONMENT. The job of a production operative is fast paced and you will be working in a small team, the work is repetitive and some LIFTING WILL BE INVOLVED.
Duties will involve:
1. Ensuring that machine settings are correct and operating the machines.
2. Maintaining a clean production environment, working on the production line, packing and spot-checking products.
3. Running quality checks on, for example, the size and weight of the finished product Assembling, packaging and labelling
4. Packing freshly prepared products & ingredients into containers
5. Pallet stacking Checking and weighing raw materials.
Ingredients used in Production: PORK, FISH, BEEF, CHICKEN
You will need to be energetic, hardworking, physically fit and reliable. The positions are offered on a temporary to permanent basis with an immediate start.
You will need to be aged 18 plus. Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
Monday to Friday – Shift: 06:00-18:00 hours.
Pay: £9.20 per hour
