Newly Qualified Accountant

Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum Plus Benefits
Anderson Knight is recruiting a Newly/Recently Qualified Accountant for a client based in the Glasgow area. You will be responsible in supporting the finance team across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc requests.
Our client is open to candidates with a background in industry or practice. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work closely with the rest of the finance department to ensure tight deadlines are met. Due to the size of the finance team, there will be future opportunities to grow your career internally.
The main responsibilities the Newly Qualified Accountant position entails are:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis
* Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare, review and challenge budgets
* Maintain financial control processes
* Work on various projects with the wider finance team
* Suggest and implement process improvements
* Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis
* Provide balance sheet and P&L analysis
To be considered for the Newly Qualified Accountant position you must possess the following:
* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)
