Newly Qualified Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum Plus Benefits
Anderson Knight is recruiting a Newly Qualified Accountant for a client based in the Uddingston area. The role is available due to an internal promotion. You will be responsible in supporting the finance team across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc requests such as project work and systems implementations.
Our client is open to candidates with a background in industry or practice. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the rest of the finance department and various business units to ensure tight deadlines are met.
The main responsibilities the Newly Qualified Accountant position entails are:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis
* Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare, review and challenge budgets
* Maintain financial control processes
* Work on various projects with the wider finance team
* Suggest and implement process improvements
* Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis
* Provide balance sheet and P&L analysis
To be considered for the Newly Qualified Accountant position you must possess the following:
* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)
