Network Security Architect WAF & DDOS

Job Type : Contract, Full Time

Salary : £500 – £580/day

Network Security Architect WAF & DDOS- Remote- 2 Months- £500- £580 PAYE

Responsibilities:

· Consult with the project team to develop WAF and DDOS architecture

· Create high level architecture diagrams

· Work with vendor Akamai to develop WAF/ BOT architecture

· Understand differences between vendor offerings and articulate pros/cons

· Include automation capabilities to reduce infrastructure complexity and manual effort

· Collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders and IT teams

· Recommend logging and monitoring strategies and SIEM integration

· Review of attack mitigations and types of DDOS attacks

· Analyse, support and advise in business

Skills/ Experience:

· Strong experience with the following technologies:

1. Applications Level & Bot Security Protections: Akamai

2. L3/ L3/ L7 WAF and DDOS

3. DNS: Qip

4. Network Layer Security Protections: Radware, Cloud/ Akamai

· Knowledge and awareness with Security aspects, attacks and mitigations, compliance, vulnerability

· Experience working in a large global organisations (Preferably Financial)

· Excellent client- facing communication skills

· Rigorous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines

· Confident working both independently and collaboratively across internal, external and hybrid global teams

· Good understanding on external Cloud Service Providers
