Multi skilled maintenance engineer (Days)

Salary : £41900 – £42000/annum Pension, overtime, day time position
My client, a leader within the food industry, is looking fora maintenance engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The company have seen year on year growth and currently have over 30 sites.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate Electrical & mechanical maintenance engineering experience, with knowledge & experience working around a range of machinery from conveyors to basic PL C's to gearboxes and fans. For ease of settling in, it would be beneficial to have worked in a food or agricultural setting previously, although all candidates that can demonstrate maintenance engineering experience will be considered (such as manufacturing in FM CG). It is essential that you have worked as part of an engineering team, reacting to breakdowns on production or process equipment.
Working alongside contractors as the main engineer in a varied engineering function, your objective will be to ensure the smooth running of all electrical machinery, ultimately resulting in increased production output. You will do this by; attending reactive maintenance activities- fault finding, repairing and servicing a range of electrical equipment, this will include: hydraulics, pneumatic, PL C's & three phase motors; servicing and carrying out PP M's on all machinery; continuous improvement and project work- installations, reliability, modifications to machinery and more.
You will also have the responsibility of maintaining all mechanical machinery such as; fans, conveyors water cooling systems, lots of mechanical turning, basic metal work, plumbing & pipework, belts, gearboxes and pumps.

Ideal situation would be 50/50% split in mechanical and electrical maintenance
Experience working in a production, manufacturing or food industrial environment (Desirable)
