An impactful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is required for a food manufacturing and processing company with a range of recognised brands in its group. Their customers include cover a cross section of industries such as; food, drink, animal nutrition, and animal feed manufacturing.

As Maintenance Engineer you will ensure that routine and preventative maintenance is carried out on Work as and when required to correct equipment breakdowns and with external contractors as required.  You will operate all aspects of the day to day maintenance in reporting and rectification of plant defects and modifications to ensure operational safety; output and quality standards are maintained.

As part of the team of maintenance engineers you will be required to undertake both reactive and planned maintenance tasks on the equipment in the plant for the safe operation of the production process, in a hygienic manner and within budgetary constraints.

The role will require you to be able to demonstrate electrical/electronic and mechanical skills and you must also have a familiarity with various PLC systems. You will have a proven background in maintaining plant equipment (fast conveyors, blending machines, hoppers, pumps, gearboxes) within either a production or manufacturing environment and have an electrical bias to your skill set. 

We are keen to talk to Maintenance Engineers who are apprentice trained, experienced in both mechanical and electrical applications within a fast moving manufacturing environment.
