MIG Welder
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £9.25/hour + Overtime + Benefits
We’re hiring for MIG welders to join a family run engineering company in the High Peak. The company manufactures a range of products for merchandising such as shelving, racking and signs.
Your job will involve working on a production line spot welding; this will include all aspects of semi-skilled welding, but mainly tack and spot welding.
Starting rate of pay is £9.25 per hour which is due to increase after successful completion of probation. Target related bonuses and regular overtime is also available
The ideal Welder will:
* Be experienced in JIG work
* Be production orientated
* Have a minimum of 1 years MIG welding experience
* Be flexible due to having to work day & evening shifts
* Have access to your own transport
* Have the ability to carry out basic Maths including additions, subtractions, multiplications and divisions
You will be required to do a weld test at interview stage
Shift pattern:
Week 1: 6am-2pm Monday – Friday (40hrs)
Week 2: 2pm-12am Monday – Thursday (40hrs)
