MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator

Salary : £13.80/hour Plus Regular Overtime
Our client is an Engineering company based in the Consett area and they require a skilled Welder/Fabricator with MIG and TIG skills to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role requires travel to different sites around the area, measure up and manufacture new parts to replace old parts for manufacturing companies. The role involves site visits, measuring replacement parts on site then producing the replacement parts back in the workshop, using fabrication and welding.
You must be a time served Welder/Fabricator with both MIG and TIG skills and be able to produce accurate fabricated parts using different metals such as aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel. You must also have a full driving license.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm.
This is temporary to permanent role and the normal rate is £13.80 and there is regular overtime
