My client is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Bias Maintenance Technician.
They are a specialist manufacturer of highly engineered chemical products that are used in lots of sectors from Construction to FMCG.
This role will involve working on a days based shift pattern Mon – Friday 8.30 – 4.30
Duties to include but not limited to;

Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment;
*
Responding to emergency breakdowns throughout the plant;
*
Must have a minimum 5 years Maintenance experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment.
*
Knowledge of hydraulics and Pneumatics with the ability to use machine shop tools.
*
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
*
Must have a positive “can do” attitude and the ability to work individually and within teams.
The Ideal Person –
Must be time served / HNC / NVQ level 3 – must be proactive and have a systematic approach to problem solving. Good communication skills and be able to establish and maintain effective contact with staff and key partners, suppliers and contractors. Must be flexible and Self Motivated.
Any FMCG / Chemical background would be advantageous.
