Mechanical Estimator – Building Services HVAC

Our Client is a Major M&E D&B Contractor based in Central London. They have been established for several decades and are well funded with an excellent future order book. M&E Turnover is in excess of £100M p/a. They are busy in numerous sectors apart from residential which they do not do.
This Client need an experienced Mechanical Estimator to work on Mechanical Building Services Installation projects in the £1M to £12M range. Virtually all projects have a Mechanical value in excess of £1M.
They work in a variety of sectors and are a preferred contractor for several of the larger Fitout Main-Contractors as well as carrying out work for clients direct (they commonly work as a Main Contractor on projects as well as a traditional sub-contractor). As Mechanical Estimator typical projects will involve both new-build and re-furb work on Commercial Offices, Sports and Entertainment Venues, Retail, Broadcasting, Research and Development, Theatres, Government Buildings, etc.
This is a key-role within the estimating department. The successful Mechanical Estimator will have a sound track record in Mechanical Estimating with Mechanical contractor/s, ideally in the London Market. You should be personable, able to communicate at all levels, be able to manage more junior staff and be able to take a hands on role in work-winning.
Ideally you should have a professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering and it is essential that you live within easy travelling distance of Central London.
