Overview
A leading M&E Contractor are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their Commercial Team. You will be working with the Estimating Manager with the opportunity to take ownership of the department as a whole in the future.
The ideal candidate will come from a Mechanical Building Services background and worked their way up from the tools. Mechanical estimating will be their primary focus but any experience of project management would be advantageous.
The client works mainly within the Residential sector with projects based in London and the South East. They have developed an excellent reputation for developing their staff and offering the chance to work on prestigious projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Tender for mechanical installation projects
* Obtain best quotes for materials/labour
* Work within a team environment
* Work closely with Senior Estimator
* Collaborate with Electrical Estimator for M&E tenders
Person Specification
* Mechanical building services background
* Current estimating experience
* Pro-active team-player
* Looking to progress in the future
* Ability to manage projects an advantage but not essential
