Salary : £14.37/hour Plus Regular Overtime

Our client is a large Engineering company based in the Consett area and looking for an skilled Manual Machinist to join them on a permanent basis.
Applicants must be time served manual machinists, with experience of manual turning, some manual milling and boring/grinding.
The role requires you to measure old worn and broken parts and manufacture new parts for production lines. The parts will be manufactured using manual lathes and manual milling machines often using different materials, bearing tolrances etc.
This is a dayshift role and the hours are :-
Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm.
The hourly rate is £14.37 with regular overtime.
This is a permanent role with a temporary trial
