Axon Moore are working exclusively with a high growth media business that have doubled their turnover in the last 2 years, who have created a new role for a newly/nearly qualified Management Accountant to join the team.
Working in a fast paced environment, reporting into the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:
Full ownership and production of management accounts and monthly reporting to agreed formats and timetables
Provide regular cashflow forecasting, analysing actual cash movements against forecast
Assist with the completion of accurate budgets and forecasts to reflect the strategy and activities the business
Monitoring monthly sales, business partnering with different departments and overseas offices
Reporting on KPI’s such as slippage, margins, and quality failures
Provide up-to-date reporting of sales performance throughout the month, quarter, and YTD
Monthly reports to be delivered and presented to management
Analyse financial data to identify and resolve any issues and to explain any variances from budget or forecast
Identification of areas where profit could be maximised through cost savings or other relevant measures
Ideal candidate:
ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified or Finalist
Prior management accounts experience working in a fast paced, high growth business
Ambitions to become Financial Controller
