Machine Operator
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £11.00/hour + Overtime
We’re hiring for someone with a background in engineering to work as a Machine Operator in the racking department of a reputable engineering manufacturer based in Stockport.
This is a full-time ongoing contract which could lead to a permanent position for someone who shows the right attitude and skills.
Package:
* Rate: 11.00 per hour
* Hours: Mon–Thur 1.45 tii 12.00 pm
* Free on-site parking
* On-site kitchen
* Overtime available
Machine Operator duties will include:
* Checking and operating machines & setting them up accordingly
* Using a range of power tools to assist in the manufacturing process
* Using micrometers to measure required components
* Sanding and deburring manufactured components
* Loading pallets ready for dispatch and maintaining good house keeping
Skills & experience required:
* A background or knowledge in engineering is essential
* Previous production experience preferred
* Excellent work ethic, and a keen eye for detail
* Good punctuality
