Machine Operative
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £12.75/hour
We are now recruiting for a Machine Operative for our client, based in the Ilkeston area. This is initially an on-going, temporary role, working days . Working in a engineering/workshop environment, this role has the potential to become permanent
Duties
– Operating manual machinery (including boring, milling and lathe machines)
– Some welding duties
– Using verniers and callipers
What we require from you –
– Previous machining (particularly boring machines)/engineering experience, and able to work in a dusty/noisy environment
– Welding experience preferable
– Willingness to learn new skills
– Able to work days (Monday – Friday)
07:00 – 15:30pm Monday to Thursdays / Friday 14:30pm Finish
09:00 – 18:30pm Monday to Thursdays / Friday 16:00 Finish
