Liquid waste Processing Operative
£26,800 basic
Location South Milford
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an award-winning team who are leading specialists within the waste management / recycling industry.
This rapidly expanding company has recently invested in new storage tanks, liquid blending, and pumping systems. This is to boost the capacity of acceptable liquid waste streams and sludges for treatment and then further use on site through the AD facility/ composting or onward disposal at certified and licenced facilities.
Role & Responsibilities:
You will be a key member of the processing team.
Responsible for the validation, unloading and testing of incoming materials and managing the storage, screening, blending and onward use of the materials on or off site.
Look after the front reception.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Knowledge of liquids waste, especially food wastes
Waste acceptance and handling
Pumping and screening equipment
Storage tanks and valves
SOPs
Basic SCADA and control systems
Basic testing – Dry Matter, COD, sulphate etc
Ratio blending to achieve a final product within set criteria
Advantageous:
COTC in waste treatment,
Mechanical expertise of mono, centrifugal and trilobe pumps.
Valves and pipework knowledge.
Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm and every third Saturday 7am – 1pm
