Salary :

TUV SUD are looking for a Commercial Contracts Advisor to join the team, supporting the commercial activity for the Product Services Division. This role will be based formally from home but will require regular attendance at the Fareham TUV SUD office (at PO15 5RL), perhaps around 2 days per week depending on scheduled activity.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assess commercial aspects of new contractual activity to identify associated risks and benefits, supporting any contract negotiations.
* Analyse both new and existing contracts with customers, suppliers and partners to ensure that content is commercially and contractually sound.
* Obtain approval for non-standard terms in accordance with agreed approval matrices.
* Develop, deliver, and maintain effective commercial methods, processes, and operational procedures to ensure contracts are managed in line with internal and external compliance standards.
* Maintain sustainable and productive commercial relationships with existing clients/suppliers and partners.
* Provide informed advice on a variety of contractual matters.
* Manage the review and negotiation of commercial contracts, including supplier and client contracts, NDAs, and other commercial agreements as required.
* Undertake other commercial operations, including employee training and development on relevant commercial contracting matters.
* Other activities as directed from time to time.
Essential Criteria:
* Recent experience of reviewing, negotiating and processing large volumes of commercial contract orders quickly and efficiently.
* Demonstrable experience of making considered and informed commercial decisions in a timely manner, to contribute to the improvement of operational service delivery to customers
* Degree level education or equivalent
* A good understanding of contract law
* Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate across a variety of levels.
* Excellent organisation skills, and able to prioritise a number of key deadlines and manage well under pressure.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
