Private Client Solicitor
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £50000/annum
My client, a well-established based in the heart of York, has a fantastic opportunity to join their firm as a Private Client Solicitor! Due to the nature of the role, we require a Qualified Solicitor with previous Private Client experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining orderly and up-to-date files including electronically and complying with the firm’s policies on file management.
* Effectively managing your caseload through case management system
* Ensuring compliance is adhered to in all activities including Lexcel compliance.
* Financial control of your own matters with particular regard to cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
* Assisting with the development of Private Legal services, recognising fee-earning opportunities and developing as appropriate
* Management of support services for which you are responsible, including supervision of support staff.
The ideal candidate:
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients
* Excellent communication skills when dealing with all levels of clients, agents and work colleagues
* A strong understanding of the range and type of clients you may deal with and how to address their needs
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage deadlines and competing priorities
