Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Child Care Solicitor on behalf of a South Yorkshire based law firm. You will be joining a highly regarded team and will be based across both the Sheffield and Rotherham office with some remote working available as well.

You will be handling your own caseload with duties including;

* Providing legal advice, assistance and advocacy for clients in relation to Child Care matters

* Taking client instructions

* Ensuring adherence to industry guidelines and regulations

* Representing clients in court and at meetings

* Preparing legal documents

* Dealing with client queries

* Assessing and applying for Legal Aid/Help

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE (however this is just a guide and candidates with more or less experience may also be considered) and have experience handling your own caseload of public and privately funded Child Care cases. You will ideally be a Member of the Children Panel but this is not essential.
