Family Solicitor
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum
My client is a modern and dynamic firm specialising in criminal and family law. My client is looking for a Family Solicitor to join their growing team, based in Solihull, West Midlands.
My client is frequently instructed to represent extremely serious and high-profile cases, and quite often cases attracting national notoriety.
The firm's Family Law department provides representation for divorce, financial relief and private children matters with particular emphasis upon representing HNW individuals. As a modern and dynamic firm, they embrace the latest technology and cutting-edge practices in their strive for excellence.
The Position:
* My client benefits from a solid team of talent comprising some of the best Solicitors and Barristers who are eminent within their profession.
* My client are expanding and are now seeking to develop that team further by the addition of a Family Solicitor.
* The ideal candidate shall be expected to possess business development skills and be prepared to be involved with marketing and networking.
* The role necessitates a competent and experienced Family Solicitor who is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* This is an extremely challenging and demanding but rewarding role.
Requirements:
* Family experience: 1-3 years PQE
* Ability to work with minimum supervision, use their own initiative and be self-disciplined.
* Good client care skills, provide professional and competent legal advice in accordance with SRA Code of conduct
* Strong IT skills
* Effective business development skills with proven marketing strategies
* Capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets
* Proven experience of handling own caseload
* Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines
* Good drafting and writing skills, excellent communication and technical ability
