We are working with a leading firm of patent attorneys who require a trained legal secretary to join the team in an assistant paralegal / team secretarial capacity. The role is based in central London (but you can work from home up to two days per week) and in the long-term will offer personal development opportunities.
On a day to day basis you will be involved in:
* Maintaining client filing – all of which is electronic
* Scanning documents
* Typing correspondence and documents – audio and copy
* Managing daily, weekly and monthly reminders
* Preparing standard and ad hoc reports in Excel
* Assisting with emails, post, photocopying
* Working with paralegals in the team
This role would suit someone who has completed CILEX and has some experience in a team support or secretarial position. Accurate touch typing skills are essential and these will be assessed at interview together with spelling and grammar. Advanced MS Office is also a must.
This is a permanent position offering a salary in the region of £24,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. With this the firm offers a very competitive benefits package including a bi-annual discretionary bonus.
