US law firm is looking for a highly skilled Practice Coordinator to enhance the internal and external client service experience, advancing innovation and change. This role will be sector specific and will be providing administrative support for the Energy & Infrastructure practice in the London office and ensures information flows between London and all of the international offices and support the Partners globally. The hours are 9am to 5:30pm with a salary of £57,000 – this firm is currently working from home however they are located in stunning City offices in the heart of the City.

Practice Coordinator Duties:

You will act as an information hub/central practice group contact regarding all relevant matter workflows, including but not limited to, file structure and access, progress against timelines and budgets, write-offs, post completion reviews, etc. Produces first draft of memoranda, letters, charts, reports and other correspondence to report on activities and updates, as requested.

Conduct research projects, assists with writing projects and prepares reports in support of practice initiatives. Works with the Research and Information Services Group to prepare materials.

Assist the Partners with the preparation of presentations, pitch materials and proposal responses.

Coordinate planning, budgeting and support for client relationship building events for the London office, including client-facing presentations, webinars, CLE programs, conferences, sponsorships, client appreciation events, business dinners and other special client and attorney events involving practice groups.

Assist with preparing directory/rankings submissions, helping to select contacts and matter details for partner approval, and appropriate follow up to encourage responses Draft new hire and specialty bios for attorneys, including short event bios, bios for publications for Public Relations purposes, etc.

Ensure deal lists are maintained and regularly updated.

Regularly audit attorney bios for additional experience bullets, SEO search terms, providing expertise in helping attorneys develop introductory paragraphs and related editing.

Support the firm’s Client Relationship Management system (HubSpot) on an ongoing basis. Further develops and maintains London mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles through HubSpot.

Update HubSpot weekly with all pitch/RFP activities.

Monitor client and industry news to identify opportunities and enhance client service.

Manage expense reimbursements; acts as liaison between staff and accounting department to ensure accurate and timely submissions.

Applicants require a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Business Development / Practice Coordinator role where you have had accountability in your decision making – ideally from within a law firm. Plus, you will need to be a strong communicator, good at writing and be degree educated
