Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Multi-Track Fee Earner – Personal Injury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, well-established and very experienced Personal Injury team as a Multi-track Fee Earner/Case Handler based in their Northampton office.
It is a full-time position although they are happy to discuss part-time hours to suit. We are looking for a Solicitor or Legal Executive or equivalent Grade B or above. However, experience is a key requirement rather than formal qualifications.
You will inherit a mature caseload of Multi-Track Personal Injury files including litigated employers’ liability, public liability, occupier’s liability, holiday and road traffic accident files.
In addition to Personal Injury Cases, the role may include some commercial litigation matters as the role develops.
You will need to be a confident, accomplished, technical litigator with experience of cost budgeting and attending Costs & Case Management Conferences. Case management software experience is essential and knowledge of Proclaim would be beneficial.
Essential skills for this role include being able to work on your own initiative and assisting other members of the team. Attention to detail and excellent time management, a methodical approach to work, a professional, empathetic and attentive telephone manner along with first-rate communication skills, both written and verbal are all imperative to this role as client contact will be considerable.
