Lead Electrical Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £60000 – £62000/annum benefits

Start People are currently recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer on behalf of a manufacturing organisation based in the Nottinghamshire area.
The successful candidate will be the site subject matter expert, responsible for leading and influencing all electrical engineering aspects, as well as implementing & developing site systems, reliability and safety initiatives across the plant.

Key Skills:
Electrical Systems – expertise in HV Distribution, Generation, Protection Systems, Motor Control Centres, Variable Skills drives, UPS systems
Instrumentation – expertise in Technology & applications, Process & functional safety systems
Controls Systems- an appreciation & understanding of DCS & PLC systems
Process Control – an appreciation of PID, Ration, Cascade, Advance Process Control (APC) & Sequencing
Experience / Qualifications:
Membership of Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) , Chartered Electrical Engineer or Equivalent Experience (Degree, HNC / HND, Time Served Apprenticeship etc)
Experienced in senior / lead / management electrical & controls engineering positions.
Heavy Industry experience preferred (petrochemical, paper, steel, chemical processing, waste management, power generation etc)
Strong understanding of factory H&S, compliance processes, NEBOSH qualified
